Don’t drive American cars on temp tags *outside* America. This guy is just asking for trouble
Also, Leon is a nothing city, and I have no clue as to why it exists

Don't they make a lot of leather there?

Really? I definitely had temp tags on my car and did the Detroit/Winds or crossing. Think as long as you have paperwork that shows its your s, you’re good.

In Mexico if you don’t have a metal plate, you’re pretty much gambling... since local cops aren’t very sophisticated

I feel comfortable saying no one needs that much leather.

A friend once bought a car (under 25 years old at the time) through ebay from Germany, had it imported to Canada, registered it in New Hampshire, and drove it across the border into the US on temp plates with a temp license that he had only gotten 3 days before so that he could register the car in NH.
Amazingly, no one seemed to care. We even got pulled over and didn’t get hassled too much.
